Recurring Tasks

Hi,

I am trying to create recurring tasks in BCM, just like i do in regular
Outlook. I would like it to remind me each month to do a series of tasks.
This is really simple in Outlook, but how does one do it in BCM?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what you are looking for. Outlook already has Tasks, why
do you want the same feature in BCM? You can link Outlook tasks to BCM
contacts.

I would create these tasks in Outlook, but I am not the only person in my
office who needs to see them. We are using BCM already and I dont think the
people in my office would accept having to go look into my shared tasks in
order to view them. In other words, I don't want the tasks to reside with me
on my profile, I would like them to be on the BCM database so that everyone
can see them on their "dashboard" in case I am out of the office, etc. They
also need to be recurring since I have to do these every month.

Outlook Task and Calendar items, and documents on a file system, are
only linked to from BCM, they are not stored in the BCM database. In
order for the other users to be able to open your Tasks, they would
have to be stored on the same (used by everyone) Exchange server, and
permissions set in Exchange so your colleagues can access your Tasks.
