Windows XP, Word 2003 SP2.
I have one user who for the last month has been getting the "Code Execution
has been interrupted" errors quite frequently. They do tend to clear up if
she restarts but they keep coming back.
Is there any way to try to track down which startup template is causing
this? It doesn't occur if I start Word with the /a switch, but it does still
occur if I remove the templates and launch Word normally. I experimented
with taking them out and putting them back and wasn't able to find the
culprit that way.
I found code that could be added to macros that would prevent the error but
I can't add it to startup templates that are locked by the vendor, so that's
no good.
Has anyone ever found a more permanent solution for this? I'm considering
having her PC reimaged but in our environment that would mean a lot of effort
and I don't want to put her through it if it won't help.
