Recurring Appointments

I recently migrated from Outlook 2000 to 2003. To date I have found only
one discrepancy, which has to do with recurring appointments in my
Calendar. I have quite a few of these, primarily birthdays and
anniversaries.

If I use a table view such as Recurring Appointments, everything
appears normal. But in the Day/Week/Month view the discrepancy is that
dates plus or minus several months from the current date will show
these as two-day events with start and stop times of 11PM... but only
if I open the occurrence of the event.

If I open the event as a series it has the normal 12AM time and 1 Day
indication of recurrence. And, if I open the occurrence of an event
that is within the six month (or so) range and which is displaying
properly, the All Day box is checked as it should be.

I didn't want to rush to the Detect and Repair solution in the event I
overlooked something and also since everything else seems to be working
fine. Thanks for any suggestions.

did you check to see if the regional settings and daylight savings time
settings are the same under both Tools->options->calendar in Outlook and
control panel in Windows?

Thank you Milly... sure enough, for whatever reasons the dayligh
savings box was not checked in Windows but was in Outlook! I don't kno
why this one hour difference never occurred to me, especiall
considering that the affected events coincided precisely with th
seasonal time changing. BTW, is Outlook 2003 the first version to allo
this setting independent of the operating system? Once again, than
you
