recurrence task set by hours

I have many tests going on that go for different durations. I have set up my
tasks to remind me when to check different things. Some testing is done by
number of hours. An example of this is I need to pull a sample every 100
hours for 2000 hours. I can manually figure out the dates and times but is
there a way for outlook to do this?

Not really. You can set reminders for 100 hours if you use just one task but
if you want a series of tasks, I'd try making them in excel and importing.
