Recovery of damaged? outlook pst file.

Just recently I had a hard disk crash. The data recovery company managed to
recover most of the files including the outlook.pst file (129KB size). Having
re-installed Microsoft Outlook 2002 (10.65156626) SP3 I get an error message
when I try to import this file. It says that it is not a personal folders
file. If this file is corrupted how can I open it or check its integrity? Is
it possible to edit it somehow and thus get back all my e-mails? Any
suggestions would be welcome.

A pst of 129kb will contain no data/information
A pst that contains data is usually measured in mb or gb

Use the repair tool, scanpst.exe, run it several times if it finds/fixes
errors
Within OL, File>Open>Data File.........browse to this data file
