recovery disk? how to??

hi,
i just bought a laptop with window xp, just want to make recovery disk just
want to learn how to make a cd of them. thanx

might be able to give you a reasonable method. is a brand new laptop and
does it have special software on it like ghost or recovery and does it have 2
partitions? what are the sizea(s) of the disk and or partitions?

Your new laptop should have come with OEM recovery disks that will restore it
to an original store bought condition.. If you want to, you could use a third
party app like Acronis True Image to recover/backup your system and all your
data too..

If you have a burner you could make copies of the OEM disks too..

thanks for rpelying. i have two partitions, 1 is 27.9gb 2nd is 47.9gb. and i
dont know if i have any softwear. new to computers. sorry. tht is why i
wanted to know how to make one. if i dont then how can i do it. i do have a
burner on my laptop. if u tell me how to make a disk then i can burn it.
