I am unable to find a newsgroup that deals with recpvery
console. So I posted this here.
I would like to know the secrete to using the "BATCH"
program. I get 2 different "ERRORS" when I use it.
The first error I get is as follows:
"There is no disk in drive or the file system is not
supported."
I get this error when I have the BATCH program create a
text file output of the executed programs.
The second "ERROR" I get is as follows:
" The volume appears to be in good condition and was not
checked. Use /P if you want to check the volume anyway"
The reason this is an "ERROR" is the text file that is
input into "BATCH" has the /P option.
My text file input to BATCH is as follows:
CHKDSK /P C:
CHKDSK /P D:
CHKDSK /P E:
If the BATCH program cannot do the CHKDSK commands then
that's OK with me. But I have not been able to find
anything that states what can and cannot be run in BATCH
If there is another place that handles Recovery Console
helo and support I would like to know it as I would like
to use the BATCH program to handle the routines that I do
