recovery console

Hello
when I boot my computer I get this message system\hall.dll
is corrupt. How do i correct this.
when I tried to repair it from the cd it bring up the
recovery console and I do not know how to work from there

If you want to run a repair install, wait until you have agreed to the EULA
before you press R. Doing it at the start will bring up the Recovery Console.
