Recovery Console / Windows XP Professional

When I run the Recovery Console, I'm requested to enter the administrator
password. I don't know what that password is as XP was already installed.
I tried just hitting ENTER (no password) but that was not accepted (I should
hope).

My XP Product ID is HFCKX-6TBQH-8T66H-CWX36-G3JJX.

I don't think I should have put the product ID in this altho I thot it was
required.

Correct you should not have posted the product key.

If the OS starts then you can reset the password here;
Start|Run|lusrmgr.msc

If not
