Recovering Files from Hard Disk

Hi, I have a notebook and the hard disk fails so i/m trying to recover some
files from my documents, i bought a 2.5 to 3.5 hard drive adapter so i can
plug in to my home pc and i can see the documents & folders but when i trying
to get in the Owner (me) directory it won't let in, How can i go to the
documents folder so I can recover my files? My home pc is also win XP pro,
both account (Home & Laptop) where password protect with the same User and
password's but i can access the folder.

If you receive "Access Denied" error, then take ownership of the folder(s) and access the data:
