I am able to boot up under recovery mode and view this bad drive. I am
trying to copy all of the data over to a new harddrive but under Windows XP
pro I do not have all of the dos commands to do this. Any ideas on how to
get the data over to the new drive?

Copy?
Xcopy?

You might also want to make/use a BartPE / Ultimate Windows Boot CD to boot
with and copy data from the old drive...

You could even put a new drive in (leaving the old drive disconnected
completely) and install Windows XP on the new drive then put the old drive
in as a slave...
