Recovering Active Directory

i do not have any backup of my active directory and, I am
trying to get my W2K server to start in safe mode. but it
seems that is not going to happen, If anyone could give me
some kind of help as how to get my active directory
configuration so I can re-install afterwards I am ando
would be very grateful
