Recover from File Synch

Somebody else had setup some directories, on another
machine on the LAN, to be available offline. Clicking
their MyDocuments on the desktop would open a window with
all of the "remote directories". I reset the MyDocuments
icon target to default. I want to delete the "offline"
content from my local drive (about 10GB worth), but I
can't find it anywhere. I'm logged on as administrator and
have folder options view set to show all files, including
hidden and system.HELP! ASAP

Truman,

What you need to do is enable the option to see the Offline Files folder on
the desktop.

1. Open an explorer window
2. Open Tools menu and then select Folder Options
3. Switch to the Offline Files tab sheet
4. check 'Create an Offline Files shortcut on the desktop' checkbox and
then click OK button

Now you should have a new desktop icon that points to the Offline Files
folder. You can go in here and delete any of the offline files.

I hope this helps,
Dennis Davis [msft]
