A user in our company had created/modified some documents while
offline w/ his laptop. Windows was then corrupted to the point it
would not boot, so I had to recover his data by hooking the HD up as a
slave and copying his profile folder under Documents and Settings. I
was not able to see his C:\documents and settings\<profile name>\My
Documents folder looking at the C: drive this way.
Is there a way to recover any of the information saved in a redirected
folder? I'm assuming it might have something to do with the proper
credentials being used to view the profile's information. If he is
logged on with a newly rebuilt image, new SID, etc. how can I import
this data?
Thanks for any help.
