recover due to hal.dll problem now no sound

After going through the process to fix the hal.dll problem I am now left
without any sound and believe that there is a web site where I can download
the drivers for the audio?????please help
 
audio drivers are obtained from either the sound card manu site, or in the
case of onboard audio your mobo manu site.
In the case of a laptop or branded pc eg Dell, HP etc from pc manu site
