Recover Deleted Items Problem

Can someone tell me if this is a bug. When you have the policy, "Empty
Deleted Items folder upon exiting" turned ON your recovered deleted items
does not work. When the policy is OFF it works. Can someone from MS tell me
if there is a fix for this or what might be happening?

Not an Outlook question, really - more of an Exchange one; best to post in
microsoft.public.exchange.admin. However - are you using OL2003 in cached
mode? I haven't seen the symptoms you describe but have heard of it with
2003/cached mode, I vaguely recall....

Also, have you enabled the DumpsterAlwaysOn reghack on your workstations?
