Recover deleted files (Family Photo's)

Can anyone save me from my Mrs wrath by advising "How do
I recover deleted files/Photos from my computer". I had
Kodak easy share software in which upon deleting photos &
movie clips, it told 'sending to Recycle Bin' but it
never went there. It happened 3 days ago & I've got WinXP
Pro. Can I recover these family photos from some part of
my Hard Disk?

3 days ago? that's not good. :-(
An "undelete" utility must be used right after the
deletion or a.s.a.p. at least.
You see, when a file is deleted well it's not really
deleted. It doesn't show up in Windows but the space it
uses on the hard disk in mark available for other data.

If other data is written to the space on the hard disk it
occupied then it's gone. And Windows writes data all over
the hard disk all the time.

It doesn't look good I'm affraid.
Maybee somebody else here has a solution? But I don't
think so.

If it just happened, maybe. But three days ago, most likely not. The more
you use the computer the less likely you'll get them back(unless you want to
spend thousands of dollars to a hard drive recovery company)
