I was attempting to select certain words in an e-mail subject not to accept
and all of my inbox messages were deleted. I cannot find recover these
messages. When I go to file and deleted items on Outlook, I do not have the
option "recover deleted messages" offered.

Please help.

That is only available when connected to an Exchange server and when the
e-mail admin has configured it.

What exactly did you do and in what version of Outlook? Created rule, set it
to permanently delete and Run Rules Now...?

I was trying to create a rule which would eliminate any e-mails with "Want it
Larger" in the subject line. Once I thought I had created this rule, I told
it to delete the e-mails which fit this rule and my entire inbox was wiped
out.

I am starting to get the sense I cannot recover those e-mails.

I have a similar problem. I have configured OL to read my web mail. I
accidentally left "leave a copy of messages on the server" unchecked.
After the download, I deleted some of the messages from OL.
Is there any way to retrieve those mails at all?

If they're not in your Deleted Items folder (which they should be, unless
you specified "permanently delete" in the rule), then you're close to out lf
luck. If they're in your Deleted Items folder, select the all with CTRL-A
and drag them back to your Inbox.

If they're not in your Deleted Items folder, see this:

And they don't show in the Deleted Items folder? This is where should show
up unless you've set the rule to permanently delete.

You could try the following but make sure you make a backup first!
