Recording CD with own voice

I'd like to record a CD with a mike in my own voice. How should I do that. Thanks!!!!

Download CDex, and choose Tools/Record from analog input. Connect the mic to
the mic jack on your soundcard. Press record.

When you're done, use your favorite burning program to burn the WAV file onto
disc.
