I have the Media Centre HP computer, and I have recorded tv shows that I need
in movie maker. I posted this last year and got some help, and have the
program DVR 2 WMV, and it works for the most part, but some videos it will
take forever and it will not finish converting. The show will be say, an hour
and 56 seconds, and it will convert either an hour and 56 ot an hour and 57
but not move on and finish. As a result I am left with videos that I need to
have in Movie Maker but they will not import. It says the file contains no
info. I have tried both Standalone and the regular. I then have tried the DVR
Ripper, as well as AutoDVRconvert, and a DVR edit, but I cannot get the
programs to even work. It is crucial that I get these videos into movie
maker. How can I do it?

Can you convert all files up to say one hour long but anything over this you
can't?
If so this may be a limitation of the convertor. Keep all newly recorded
files below this figure.
If it's just this file then it could be that the files are corrupted and so
you will not get them converted.

It can convert them most of the time. But there are times it will not finish
properly, leaving me with videos I need in Movie Maker but cannot import, and
the videos are all one hour, four minutes and fity-six seconds. Ive tried
using different video and audio combos as well but no luck.

Have you tried using DVR-MS Toolbox? It works for me

Ive figured out a way with the DVR 2 WMV If I hit cancel it will still
work or if I wait till 59 min is converted and hit cnacel I still have
everything and it works
