Record Locking (Gina)

Thanks for the response. I am attempting to have record
level locking, but I read that Access does not use it when
started from a windows shortcut. I now know this to be
true. How does one get record level (default - edited
record) locking when you have security on the database. I
am under the opinion that you have to start through a
shortcut to utilize the workgroup/secured mdw.

For record level locking to work, users must be joined to
the same security .mdw file
