Reconnect shared network drives

The reconnect of shared network drives from a WIN2K
Server on a WIN2K workstation does not happen immediately
after rebooting the WS. Via Explorer, it shows a
disconnected network map. After some time (10 - 30
seconds) the network drives is back online. How can this
be solved ? It did not occur before migrating from NT4.0
to WIN2K WS.

Thanks in advance

PS. I already tried the move to a workgroup and than back
to the Domain to remove cached elements from NT4.0

This is going to be a tough one, between NT 4.0 and W2K there are enough
security differences that it's going to be hard to tell. What you might want
to do is to run a network sniff when you are reconnecting. You can see if
there is an actual delay on the wire or who is waiting on who. If this is
enough of an issue for you, call in and open a support case so we can break
it down and figure it out.
