Recommendations for bible study freeware

When I daydream about what I'd do with a time machine, the
thought of ensuring that the Puritans wound up at the bottom
of the Atlantic frequently crosses my mind. I wonder what the
United States would be like without such things as the
Comstock Act and Prohibition.
Mature?

I see. When challenged, fall back on the very rule you've ignored
for the past three or four posts. Typical.

I must have missed something. I didn't feel challenged whatsoever. Do
YOU have something to say to me?

I just did.

Okay, you can have the last word. In the interest of this thread not
going down the gutter I will refrain from getting into it with you.

Jesus's sacrifice on the Cross is a free gift to all who choose to
believe the fact that he died for all sin
Man makes money off of Jesus because most men serve mammon...

That's if you believe any of that stuff. The majority of people on
this planet don't.

You are obviously bristling with antagonism. That's sad.

You are obviously wrong. There's nothing for me to be antagonistic
towards.
By the way, which bible freeware program do you recommend.

I don't. Why bother?

At the lower levels, the focus of religion is to help the
unfortunate.

If you define "unfortunate" as "those who run the religion for their
own benefit", you're right.
the all-too-human tendency toward
self-delusion and associated mental disease states

Pretty good definition of "religion".

P.S.: I stumled upon by chance, don´t take it too serious but it looks
plenty and many gadgets. Nothing of interest for me, everything dual is
already written in the bible. Old Testament.

I probably should have just gone here:

.... Zealot: noun. A member of a religious movement who is
willing to explain to an omniscient and omnipotent deity
exactly *what* the deity meant by the human interpretation
of its will, and why the deity is incorrect and the
zealot is correct.

Are those the "progressive" commentaries mentioned earlier?
Some progressive, some conservative. The problem comes when people try
to foist their version, left or right, as truth. Commentaries are
learned opinion nothing more. A Commentary is not the Bible. The Bible
is not a "paper pope." Some biblical commentaries left or right, do
their job better than others. The only purpose of a commentary is to
explain what the Bible is saying, how it's saying it, and why the
commentators come to that conclusion. Left or right, you are free to
disagree with the good commentators, and you still learn something.

You can even write your own. With some simple tools and training,
ANYONE can learn biblical exegesis and find out what the scripture
actually says. If you are doing a proper job of exegetical analysis the
Bible most definitely does NOT say whatever you want it to say.

Can we get back to Freeware please?
