I need one plz. I am getting the error message when comp is booting:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut own to prevent damage to your computer.

blah blah...

Check for viruses on ur computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run chkdsk /f to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

Inaccessible boot device. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=122926.
You likely have a boot sector virus or corruption, unless you've been
fiddling with hardware, in which case XP is confused about your hardware
setup.

Insert the XP CD and start the Recovery Console (first repair option).
Then run "fixboot" and "fixmbr" to restore your boot sector.
