I have just finished a presentation. When I email it, the recipient cannot
open it.
I have saved the file as a slideshow (97-03) . The recipient says he can
only open pps files mine comes up as ppst? I am currently using a trial
version of office 2007. Is this the problem? how can i make it that the
recipient just click on the icon and sees a slideshow?

Exact steps for that, please?

If you just click the Office File button and then Save As, it gives you the
old Save As dialog box, where you can choose PPT 97-2003 Show (*.pps). If
you're using the options on the flyout that appears when you go to Office
File Button, then hover over Save As, you won't have that option -- the
"show" there is a 2007 file format.

That's why I asked for exact steps. We can't see what you're doing there.
Are you clicking or hovering?
