When I open Outlook after rebooting, I recieve an error message that
essentially states that Business Contact Manager is unable to connect to the
database. Does anyone have any ideas that might help?

Yes, start the database service. Go to start -> run -> services.msc and
start anything that has to do with SQL.

Which version of BCM is this?

Thank you very much. This worked. I didn't know that SQLAGENT$MICROSOFTBCM
was set to manual start settings. I figured that it would be set to
automatic. It is NOW set to automatic start.

As to the version of BCM, I am unsure; however, I did download it as a part
of Office 2003 Pro.

Thanks again for your help!

Warm Regards,

Chris

SQL Agent is normally set to manual, I just told you to start everything to
not have to deal with exceptions to the rule :)

Glad it works. Please see my website for links to get the latest service
packs for BCM. BCM 2003 is currently at Service Pack 3.
