A couple of days ago I updated my Windows on my computer and now my Outlook
2007 isn't working correctly. I'm specifically talking about being able to
open and delte E-Mails I'm receiving in my Outlook. What has happened is
that I can view my E-Mails but I can't open them nor can I delete them. I'm
going to wirte the error that I'm getting and other explanations. When I try
to open or delte an E-Mail in my Outlook, I get the follwoing error:
Errors have been detected in the file
C:\Users\civmar\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outllok.pst Quit Outlook and
mail-enabled applications, and then use the Ibox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to
diagnose and repair errors in the file. For more information about the Inbox
repair tool see help.
I have no inbox repair tool option. I have typed in Scanpst.exe and my
computer tells that command doesn't exist.
I have also typed in C:\Users\civmar\AppDate\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst
and that doesn't work.
Ialso have typed in: drive:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft Office\Office 12 and that
doesn't work.
I have tried Scanost. exe and that doesn't work.
Currently, I have trouble call number 1090398930 assigned to this issue and
also I have talked to Microsoft tech reps under Session ID 1177796 and
Session 1177885. They say it's an easy issue to solve but they haven't been
able to solve it.
I am getting ready to ship my computer off to Microsoft for repair because
their recent update caused this problem.
I can be contacted at (e-mail address removed) if anyone has a solution
to this problem.
