Recent Documents

I create files and save them in "New Briefcase"
The problem is they also end up in "My Recent Documents"
I delete them and they still return.
How can I solve this problem?
I'm using Windows XP Pro.and a Dell Inspiron computer.

You can remove Recent Documents from the Start Menu:

Control Panel > Taskbar and Start Menu > Start Menu tab > Customize
button > Advanced tab > Start menu items
