When I had Access 97 I did not have the following problem. I have dBASE
4(old database from 93'). I think I need a newer version of dBASE in order
to link tables and run queries successfuly, but I'm not sure. In my upgraded
2003 Access(recently upgraded from Access 97), when I try to run queries
from tables I've created in my 2003 version, things work fine. When I try to
run queries from linked tables from the old dBASE(4), I get errors that my
arguments are not valid. Even when the criteria field is empty, the error
still says "argument not valid". I'm beginning to believe I need a download
to help with my compatibility issues from the older version of Access. Does
anyone know where I can download something that may help? Any suggestions
are greatly appreciated. I feel very ignorant on this subject matter and any
push in the right direction would help a lot.
Thanks,
Zack
