2003 Access Linked Tables: Doug Steele, I need your help.

Doug (or anyone who can help),

I have tried to link tables in Access to an OBDC external dBASE 4 table.
Some times I am successful, sometimes I'm not. When I run queries from
linked dBASE 4 tables, I get an "argument error" or "unexpected error".
Thus, no records are posted as a result of the query. I have 2003 Access.
Do I need to install a OBDC update?(I was previously able to link tables and
run queries from the exact same DBASE 4 tables before I upgraded from Access
97).

If anyone can solve this one, I would be very thankful.
