receiving two duplicate messages from the same p...

I am continually receiving duplicate messages from the same person-exactly
the same time sent etc. The sender says its at my end that I need to fix how
outlook 98 recieves his messages. Does anyone know what is happening to
cause this occurence and how I can correct it? His messages are the only
ones that this happens to.
 
Are you using POP3 or Exchange? If an Exchange server, do you know if there
is anything special with the server (i.e. Blackberry server setup)? If using
POP3, check with your server. Is it a personal one-to-one email that you
receive from this person, or are you one in a list of people that the person
sent the email to?

You can open the email and go to View->Options and check the dates in the
Message Header to verify that the dates match up identically.
 
Im using POP3. I will check with the server then. This person has me on a
list and as well we communicate one to one. Duplicates happen both ways.
