duplicate emails

I am receiving duplicate emails from senders. usually 4 of the same message.
I have not changed any settings. How do I correct this problem?

Try downloading all email that might be residing on the server using another
email application then see if Outlook behaves better. Also disable any
antivirus email integration you might have enabled.
