Outlook 07 "Receiving" two emails from people

Every email I receive in Microsoft Outlook is duplicated. Same time, date,
day, message, etc. What can I do to rcv. only one email per person?
 
Do you have any rules that are redirecting messages from the Inbox to another
folder as they arrive? If so, I bet you have two rules acting on each
message and the second rule is causing a copy of the message to be made. Add
"stop processing more rules" to the first rule.
