Do you get any error message?

Does the email provider provide a Web page for accessing your mail? If so,
try deleting it there.

It's not a Vista issue. There is a stuck email on the server. I'm surprised
your ISP didn't offer to clear it for you.
Connect to the server via webmail and delete the stuck email.
If your IP doesn't offer webmail access, you can use http://mail2web.com.

I'm getting the same message. Is there anyway to tell what the stuck email
is? I've deleted most all of them and I'm still getting the same message.

No real way to tell which message is the problem one, although
usually it is either the oldest or the biggest one.

Usually the message just after the last message actually received.

Also usually not a desired message, so first remove all spam and all
messages already received.
