Receiving Messages

When trying to receive messages in Outlook, I started
getting this error message "Sending and Receiving
Reported Error (0x800CCC0F) The connection to the server
was interrupted". Is this an Outlook problem or a error
at my ISP?

Could be a local networking problem on your end, could be a problem with
your ISP. Does this happen all the time, or just occasionally? Have you
called your ISP?

I posted a similar message earlier with no reply but

I've seen several similar messages.
I've contacted my isp (road runner) but no luck. I also
have a lan network set up but I began having this problem
only recently and would tend to rule that out as the
problem. I am suspecting my anti virus software, Norton
Internet Security which I just installed but I've tried
turning off the email scan function and disabling the
firewall and anti virus but no luck. I may try
uninstalling to see what happens.
I hope someone out there has the answer.
