I have been using windows mail for some time now with no problems until now.
When I open up it checks for mail and I now get a pop up box from windows
security saying "please verify that both the username and password are
correct for your mail server" Everything I try doesnt work but I can access
via web mail. This seeme to have happened after a recent auto update. If I
cancel I get the following error message
" Account: 'inmail.f2s.com', Server: 'inmail.f2s.com', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR Could not determine server', Port: 110, Secure(SSL):
No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92"
Can anyone help please?

Make sure your account in Windows Mail set up per these instructions:
http://www.freedom2surf.net/help/tutorials/4/

Notice the tricky part about replacing all symbols with dashes. ie:
(e-mail address removed) would become youremail-f2s-com.

If all that checks out, which antivirus are you running? Some of them
are not fully compatible with Windows Mail.

Thanks, had'nt tried dashes and it has now worked and all is well.
Thanks Again
