receiving e-mail

i cannot receive e-mail since 11-10-09. is there a way i can restore my
computor or some other way to correct tis problem? thanks for your help.
 
Any error message when you try to receive?
What happens when you send an email to yourself?
 
Same problem. Cannot receive mail for about six days. Can send.
