Receiving Blank Email in Outlook 2007 Beta 2

I was having the problem - disabled the AVG and MOST email comes through now.
But there is one person that I REALLY need to hear from that still gives me
blank-except-for-one-symbol email.

Does this mean all the emails i downloaded whilst AVG mail plugin was on
cannot be recovered. I havce over 300 emails that are all blank and they are
no longer on the server.

As far as I know, yes. (I don't have AVG)

I agree - simply disabling AVG from the system tray doesn't solve the problem
- you have to leave AVG running and just turn off the email scanner plugin in
the options - then emails show up okay.

In fact, with AVG all you need to do is disable the "certify mail" option.
While using the mail scanner is unnecessary, you can leave it running
provided you disable certification.

I am using ol2007 and get blank email messages from one user ID. All other
messages come through fine. Was able to reproduce it on a different machine
running Ol2007. The same messages appear fine in Ol 2003. I dont have AVG
installed.
Any suggestions..

If you're using AVG as your antivirus, disable the mail certification
option. If you're using some other AV program, disable mail scanning. This
question and answer have been posted manyy, many times already. A five
second search would have found it for you.

I have removed all antivirus, antispyware application and still the same
issue persits. The 5 second search was done and thats why i wrote in as none
of the steps listed resolved the issue.

Have you already disabled all add-ins? (Tools, Trust Center, Add-Ins).
Emails you received while AVG was installed will remain blank. Only new
emails you receive will be different. Are you checking new emails or old
emails?

Thanks! I disabled the email scanning plug in by going to the AVG Control
Center and choosing properties for the email scanner.
Works great now!

I dont think anyone is understanding my scenario.. I dont have any
addins>comaddins, in Outlook. I dont use AVG. I have already uninstalled my
antivirus on both computers. One runs McAfee and other runs Norton.. The same
mails come in fine when i use Outlook 2003/Outlook Express.. Any answers?????

Check if u r antivirus is the cause of the problem. Uninstall it or disabled
incoming scan of emails.
