Receives as Plain Text

If I send a message to myself in HTML, it comes in as Plain Text. What
could be possible solutions to this? My sent copy is in HTML.

Check your settings in Tools, Options, Email Options to make sure it is not
set to Read all mail in Plain Text.

Thanks, but that wasn't it. Messages from certain people do come
through in HTML, so I don't know if this is just being buggy or what

Are you using a COntact record for yourself? If so, open that COntact
record and double-click the E-Mail address. Check the "Internet Format"
drop-down at the bottom, if one appears.

Yeah, there's no HTML option there, but I have Rich Text selected.

If you're trying to send an HTML message to yourself but you have Rich Text
selected in the Internet Format drop-down in your Contact record, that Rich
Text setting will override the HTML formatting. Change the drop-down to
"Let Outlook decide" and try again.

I can't speak for the originator of this discussion, but I ran into the same
problem, found these messages, made the change you suggested, and it solved
my problem.
