Received field in Sent Items folder set to "None"

In my Sent Items folder (Outlook 2002), some of the messages have
"None" in the Received field. These messages don't get to their
intended addressee.

Most messages in my Sent Items folder have a valid date/time stamp in
the Received field. These go out OK.

The offending messages are created from a mail merge (a Word 97
document populated from Access 97 data) that creates a mass email to be
distributed by Outlook 2002.

Why are my messages not getting out? What does the Received field mean
in the Sent Items folder?

Appreciation expressed in advance!

If the email is in your sent items folder, why is it you think it wasn't
sent? Was it not received at the other end?

The emails with "None" in the Received field of the Sent Items folder
were indeed never received by the addressee. It makes no sense, I have
no clue as to why.
