Why do I receive duplicate emails from some addresses, but not all. I am
using Outlook 2003. I looked on the POP3 server an there is only one copy.
I am not leaving a copy of the messages on the server. This seems to be a
random even, but some addresses are consistently duplicated.

I have found my proble. I had two different rules setup for the same email
address, so it was putting the email header in the designated file twice. I
eliminated one of the rules and problem solved.

So you're only receiving duplicates of certain messages, not all? Are they
spam messages, by any chance? Usually the cause of this is a mail server
that doesn't properly generate a unique identifier for each message, and
this (when it occurs) usually happens with spam.
