reboots

I have installed xp pro, on a older pc, when I download
sp1 and reboot, the pc continues to reboot as if it was
stuck in a cycle??? any ideas

Mike, on a next Startup tap F8 repeatedly. You should get a menu. Select
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Do a system restore from there.
