It may be a software/hardware issue.
Right click MyComputer on the desktop.
Click Properties > Advanced tab > Settings tab under Startup and Recovery.
Uncheck "Automatically restart" under System Failure.
Click Ok > Apply > Ok.
Reboot if required.
Although that will keep the machine from rebooting when/if a problem occurs, you will get a blue error screen which will help in determining the cause of the problem. You may need to manually power down and back on afterwards as well.

Check to make sure your computer is being properly cooled. Check your case
fans, CPU heatsink/fan and, if you have one, fan on the graphics card. Your
system may be overheating, and the symptoms are pointing to it.
