reboot problems

I am running win 2000. My system reboots on it's own
while I am working. The reboot opens my browser and my
documents folder even thought I am not working on line at
the time of the reboot. I was advised that it could be a
power supply problem but since the reboot opens my
browser I am afraid that it maybe a virus. I have scaned
for trojan horses and eliminated all that I can. Is
there a test or something that can help me. I am running
norton systemsworks. It reports that some trojans are
found but it can't remove it. What should I do.

Search the symantec site for the name of the trojan for help on removal. I
wouldn't think twice about backing up your data, blow it away and start a
new install. The backups will need to be cleaned before you attempt to use
them.
