How new/old is your PC?
Was it an install of XP on a veteran PC?
It seems your CMOS battery needs replacing!

You placed the UK pounds sterling - "£" - at the end of your reply???
Trust me, it won't be expensive to fix, in fact very cheap!!!
(Approx £1-3, or $3, depending on your location)
You either need a BIOS update, but more probably from error code,
Your CMOS battery needs replacing.
This holds basic data of MoBo configuration on a chip, and if you are
honest, you've been ignoring numerous error messages haven't you???
You have two options:
A) I suspect you purchased an OEM PC package, if so, visit their site
and discern the Mobo, location within of, and specific battery - for
your particular PC, They will probably supply such a battery for free
or for Post and packing!

B) Or You could place with a repair shop instructing quite clearly for
them to only replace the CMOS battery -
The battery cost: $1 - 3
Time: Remove cover, remove fading battery, install new battery = 6 min
Pay NO more than $15

It is highly improbable that the OP's problems will be solved by
tinkering with his BIOS or replacing the motherboard battery. To the OP
- first set your computer to *not* automatically reboot upon failure by
doing:

Control Panel>System>Advanced>Startup and Recovery>Settings and under
System Failure uncheck "Automatically Restart".

This should give you a blue screen and Stop Error. You can research your
Stop Error here: http://www.aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

Unfortunately, whatever character encoding you are using doesn't come
across on my machine and most of the error codes you wrote are just
rectangles so I can't comment on the exact error codes you found in
Event Viewer.

Rebooting - particularly if random - can be caused by overheating, bad
RAM, or other hardware failure. Here are some general hardware
troubleshooting steps:
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_Troubleshooting

Testing hardware failures often involves swapping out suspected parts
with known-good parts. If you can't do the testing yourself and/or are
uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigStoreUSA).

I'm not out to provoke nor squabble, and I certainly bow

definately that include's Malke,
But.................
The OP's error etc, I typed that they must have been ignoring
repeated numerous error messages? The error indicates
that specific hardware configuration is not remembered (?),
and as an example, the OP may(?) have noted that their monitor
was being "detected" on every boot-up?
This clearly indicates the CMOS battery requires replacing....
It is cheap and easily replaced, and a viable option for
setting to rights any wrongs that the OP is experiancing.......

This maybe deemed to be too provokative,
That is, honestly, not my intention, there are
some posters who we all look upto and revere,
But I stand my ground on the issue of CMOS
battery replacement in this instance.
I undertake to reimburse the original posters
costs incurred in battery replacement if indeed
it fails to rectify their original problem.....
