I have been working on a friends's laptop (removing spyware, removing a
minor trojan, installing updates, etc) and I noticed something really
weird. When I do a warm boot/reboot, it gives me an error saying either
the isapnp.sys or the ntfs.sys file is corrupt or missing and windows
will not boot. However, if I turn the system completely off and do a
cold boot, I never get this error. Any ideas on how to fix this?
