reboot after restore captured image

When restoring an image created with the SMS capture wizard of the OSD
Feature Pack,I specified only the options -mini -reseal -quiet. However,
when this image is restored to a machine, it reboots somehow right before the
last minisetup phase.
Exactly this phase needs to be done in our case at the clients premises
(joining the network, runonce settings and furthermore). (The image
restoration must be in two phases, where the first has to be done either from
CD or from RIS, and the second part on another location)
From where is this last reboot generated?
It is giving me a headache...

Hello Siggy,

Can you supply logs from the installation please?

These are located in c:\minint\ - you can preserve them during an
installation by adding a file c:\minint\archive_osd.sms

From your description it seems that the State Restore phase of OS Deployment
is not working as expected, is that correct? This is the phase where network
settings, SMS Client settings, User State are restored.

The problem is solved, instead of using the default values given by the image
capture wizard CD, I used only -factory and now the clients shutdown right
before the mini setup phase starts.
The factory phase has been automated with a winbom.ini file and works fine.
The only small problem I have now is that after restoring the image the
english language setting is added as to where I only used dutch in the image.

Hey Siggy,

Thanks for the update, glad you solved the issue.

Regarding the English language setting - which setting is this and could it
be due to the WinPE being English rather than being built from a Dutch OS?

Best regards,

Bob
