DCELL said:My initial install of VISTA Ultimate RTM, after installing the Realtek
AC97
drivers I got initially (they came out in December), Control Panel would
crash windows explorer. The current Realtek drivers (
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#AC
) for Vista, dated 1/11/07 fixed that issue and I've had no problems since
reverting back to prior to installing the ones from December and then
installing the ones from January. No BSODs with the ones from December
but
it did crash explorer. If you're not using the drivers dated 1/11/07, try
them.
