realtek sound driver

Have windows xp pro.
Reinstalled realtek sound driver and now getting popup saying
"crete secondary for getting property set extention failed"
I am knew at this can anyone be of help.

The RealTek sound driver is usually required for audio systems built into
the motherboard. You will have to ask tech support people at the motherboard
manufactturer's web site.
