Realtek Audio Component Problem

T

Tim Houle

I created a component for Realtek Audio board. However,
when I click on "sounds and audio devices" in CP, I get
the error MMDRIVER file not found and sound doesnt work.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tim Houle

Tim,
In TD, make sure that you have set your "Extra Files Folder" to the correct
location. You can navigated there from the Menu: Tools->Options->Build.

there are errors that it cannot find ks.inf and
wmaudio.inf. Those files do not exist in the driver
diskette.

Tim,
If you can't find some of the inf files, then I would look to a machine
running xp pro and snag the drivers from there.

Sean,

I recreated the component after copying the inf files it
needed to create the component without errors. After I
build and try to run audio, I get an error stating
mmdriver.inf missing.

Tim,

You obviously did not include all the necessary dependencies.
Try adding "Audio Control Panel" and resolve its dependencies.
